Pre-braided warp and weft, then loomed flat. Twice the work of a thick weave, made for heavy traffic and wall to wall carpeting.

Thin weaves start before the loom. Each strand is braided by hand first, then woven, which is why they hold up in hallways, hotels and offices. Herringbone, chevron, tatami and tweed structures, in natural tones or dyed.
